Mrs. Ehrler's Classroom Home
Welcome to Mrs. Ehrler's Class!
I am so happy to be the Art teacher at St. Michael school! I love art and I love sharing my passion for art with your children! Art allows for problem solving, innovation, and creativity; all life long skills. Students learn to see in new ways, come up with, and create something new and innovative. Students at St. Michael create a wide variety of art projects that incorporate art history, a variety of cultures, art mediums, and techniques. Students develop an art vocabulary and learn how to evaluate artwork. About Me: This will be my third year at St. Michael! I am a native Cincinnatian and graduated from St. Ursula Academy. I have a Bachelor's degree in Art Education from Thomas More College and have taken several graduate art classes at Xavier University. I am married to my best friend, Mark, and we have two daughters, Nathalie (a Freshmen at SUA) and Sylvie (6th grade). We adopted a schnauzer puppy who keeps us very busy. When I am not creating, looking at, or thinking about art, I love spending time with my family, cooking, gardening, reading, and walking.
