Spanish K-8 - St. Michael School

Weekly Update

my class photo Here is a little about myself. I grew up in Middletown and later moved to Cincinnati. I graduated from Ursuline Academy in 1995 then attended DePaul University in Chicago, where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish and Political Science. This will be my eleventh year teaching, and my fifth year at St. Michael School. I am married with a daughter who attends St. Mike’s. Teaching a “special” at the K-8 level has been an absolute joy for me. I delight in seeing the children grow and develop from one year to the next, and I appreciate the challenge of teaching the nine levels. My work is very much informed by my life experiences, including having a father from Panama, 17+ years of Catholic schooling, living in Brazil in the 7th grade/learning Portuguese, studying in Spain, and living and working as a high school English/Religion teacher in Miami, Florida (the northernmost city of Latin America).
