Reading & Vocabulary Words

Spelling Words

   Spelling test on Thursday.

Science Class

   In Science over the next couple of weeks, we will be looking at the properties of matter: What is matter?, the changings states of matter, melting and boiling points and mixtures and solutions. We will try to do some experiments too!

    Use brainpop.com for more on matter. You will be given an assessment task to check your understanding of this.

Social Studies Class

   We have started a new Unit this week: How we organize ourselves.

    Central Idea: "Government structures and Institutions impact the way we live".

    In this unit we will inquire about what a government is, what makes up the government, what are the types of government, the role of financial institutions and how government and finance work together...

Tonight's Homework

   Remember to ask your parents these questions from class:

    1. What does government do?

    2. Who is the government?
