Mrs. Cooke's Classroom Home

Let me introduce myself and share a bit about me! My name is Mrs. Cooke. I grew up in Westchester, NY and have lived in New Fairfield with my family for over 4 years now. We love it here! Teaching is New Fairfield is so special to me because it's not only the place we call home but where my husband and I are raising our two daughters (Olivia, 10 and Isabelle, 5) and our two pups (Kylo and Scarlett)!

Aside from being a teacher, I love spending time with my family and friends, being adventurous, reading, travelling, and the New York Giants! I graduated from Manhattan College with my BS degree in Elementary Education and graduated from The College of New Rochelle with my MS degree in Literacy. Teaching has forever been a passion of mine and I can truly say I absolutely LOVE being a teacher. I remember lining up my dolls as a young child and playing teacher as early as 5 years old. I stand by the quote, “If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.”

This is my 18th year of teaching, and I am so excited to be starting my second year at Meeting House Hill School! I have taught in both Charter Schools and a Public Schools in New York City and Westchester, NY before making to the move to join MHHS. And that move was the BEST choice! I have taught 1st-5th grade throughout my teaching career, although 4th grade is my favorite!

I am so excited to learn and grow alongside each of you this year. We are going to have the BEST school year together!
